Come join all the toe pointing fun.
Your little dancer is precious so here is why she/he is in the best hands.
Since 2004 Faith Weeden has been teaching little ones to point their toes. You can rest assured your little dancer is in the best hands possible.
The Cecchetti method is a ballet technique and rigorous training method devised by the Italian ballet master and pedagogue Enrico Cecchetti (1850–1928). The method seeks to develop the essential skills of dance (e.g., balance, poise, strength, elevation, elasticity, and ballon). Its goal for students is to learn to express themselves through dance by studying and internalizing the basic principles, in an effort to become self-reliant rather than imitating the movements executed by their teacher. Cecchetti-trained dancers have achieved places in ballet and dance companies all over the world.
Faith Weeden has a 4 year BMus (Dance) degree from the University of Cape Town and is an Affiliated Teacher with the Checchetti Society of South Africa.
